Kyle Johnsen

Kyle Johnsen is a Professor in the College of Engineering at the University of Georgia. He joined UGA in 2008 after earning his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, where he also completed his M.S. and B.S. His research focuses on emerging human-computer interaction technologies for health, education, and the environment.

Johnsen leads the Georgia Informatics Institutes and directs the Virtual Experiences Laboratory. His areas of expertise include virtual reality and multimodal 3D user interfaces, with an emphasis on developing interactive systems that advance applications in his stated domains.
