Dr. Hualu (Lu) Zhou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Georgia. Her research integrates food chemistry, nanotechnology, and data-driven modeling to design sustainable and functional food systems. She currently focuses on applying AI-enabled predictive approaches to elucidate structure–function relationships in food components, including plant proteins and bioactive compounds, and to advance their applications in food health and sustainability.
