Assistant Professor, Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics Dr. Daehwan Ahn is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics at the University of Georgia. He received his PhD and MS in Business Administration, specializing in Management Information Systems, from Seoul National University, and completed postdoctoral research at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Dr. Kartik Hosanagar. Dr. Ahn’s research explores the intersection of technology, management, and human behavior, with a particular focus on human–AI interaction and collaboration. His work addresses the design, development, and societal impact of artificial intelligence, including efforts to create fair and responsible AI systems in human resource management and to understand how AI shapes the future of work and virtual workplaces.
