IAI's Graduate Program Among Nation’s Top 20

The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) program at UGA’s Franklin College of Arts and Sciences has been ranked No. 17 nationally by TechGuide, highlighting the strength and longevity of one of the country’s oldest AI graduate programs. Established in 1987 and housed within the Institute for Artificial Intelligence (IAI), the multidisciplinary program connects more than 90 faculty across 13 schools and colleges and prepares students to apply AI to real-world challenges, from precision agriculture and infectious disease modeling to environmental monitoring and weather forecasting. The recognition comes as Franklin continues expanding its investments in artificial intelligence and data science through new faculty hiring, research infrastructure, and national collaborations.
