About Me

I am a Masters student in the Artificial Intellegence Center at the University of Georgia. I am also fortunate enough to have an assistantship through the AI Center performing work as a lab technician.

When I am not in my office, I enjoy swimming and biking, and spending time with my girlfriend Brooke and my dog Hershey.

After having spent nearly five years at UGA, I have decided to become more involved on campus, and was elected Vice President of the Graduate Student Association.

Current Projects

It is finally summer, which means I have more time to do my own work. I hope to spend the next few months on the following projects:

Searching for Ramsey Numbers using Extremal Optimization (with the help of Matthew Losanno). More info available here.

Continuing research on Etremal Optimization by comparing it to Genetic Algorithms, Particle Swarm Optimization, and Raindrop Optimization on several different problems. More info available here.
