The following represents a description of requirements specifically for the Cogntive Science Majors and does not include all of the general UGA requirements for graduation, for further information regarding these requirements, check the University of Georgia Bulletin. Areas A-E:

A
Baccalaureate degree program must require at lease 21 semester hours
of upper division courses in the major field and at least 39 semester
hours of upper division work overall. Required
Courses (25-29 hours)
Artificial Intelligence (3 hours) or Generative
Syntax (3 hours)
Choose
five courses with at least two in each of two of the following four
areas (not included in above):
Philosophical
Foundations Area
Psychological Foundations Area
Language and Cultural Foundations Area
Competency in
foreign language through the third semester including: Arabic, Chinese,
French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin,
Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili (9 hours) Refer to
College-wide requirements when selecting general electives: Upper division
(10-14 hours) Any level (11-19 hours) 1 This course may not be
used both as a Required Course and to satisfy one of the five area requirements.
2 This course may not be
used to satisfy an area requirement for two different areas.
3 This course is not included
in the old degree requirements.
