How to Apply to the IAI Program

Prospective Students

How to Apply for Admission to the UGAI Graduate Program

To apply to the graduate program in AI, you must apply to the Graduate School at UGA. You may apply online via the Graduate School web page here. Be sure to view the Graduate School Application Check List to be sure you send all required documents to the Graduate School. Mail your Application Fee to the Graduate School.

 

There are also several required items that need to be sent directly to the Institute for Artificial Intelligence. You can send these items to the attention of Khaled Rasheed.

• Send 3 letters of recommendation (preferably from university faculty and/or professional supervisors) unless you have them submitted to the graduate school online.

• Send a sample of scholarly writing (This can be anything you've written and must be in English. The writing sample can be a term paper, research report, journal article, published paper, college paper, etc.)

• Send in the Application for Assistantship if interested in applying for funding. You may fill out and print a copy of this application here: Application for Graduate Assistantship.

   

  There are other items that are not required that you may wish to include. These are optional items.
